I Need You 02:46
Darkness – Falls - On you You’re lying there, underneath your bed Take a deep breath, let it come for you Breathe, in, don’t let the demons take you-I’m-coming Lying, waiting, for you Don’t take your leave when I’m in doubt no Don’t take your leave come away with me now Don’t take your leave when I need someone Don’t take your leave I know that I need you I need you The moon, falls, it looks down to earth it’s getting red now Watch, it sink, down beneath the trees they whisper to me Demon, is playing, don’t let him steal those secrets baby Don’t take your leave when I’m in doubt no Don’t take your leave come away with me now Don’t take your leave when I need someone Don’t take your leave I know that I need you I need you Don’t take your leave when I’m in doubt no Don’t take your leave come away with me now Evolving from the ashes left when you slayed All of the demons calling my name I was howling your name screaming When you found me baby’s dreaming Don’t take your leave when I need someone Don’t take your leave I know that I need you

t’s here I find cold truth I’ve lost more than I knew Found strength, no bounty for what we’ve lost I wait with painted tongue Staring at the face of no-one Blessed for what I know But time spent together fuels my sorrow Love, is it a curse? Every loss a sign of hell on earth I fear this game, victory ends in cold remains Tumbling down Stealing my crown Tumbling down Lies so profound Bleed my heart of pain Wash this veil in pure rain Yet take, no more from me Adversity counts two of three I wait with painted tongue Fearful that my crimes will cloud the sun Forgive my past Future generations suffer most without council Tumbling down Stealing my crown Tumbling down Lies so profound Wretched feeling Tainted heart Tribulations of being torn apart I can’t hide Spare this burden Push this grief aside Ahhh

Broken shade that falls a silhouette Parade we march in turn we shake the hand that Grips our fear until we disappear from Sight is not the only sense we have of what we know is Right here is were I lost my state of mind But I’ll fight another day unless I grow wings and learn to Fly away and soar above the cradle of this soul Before I take this step I need a little self control Beaten path we walk our solemn eyes that Gaze into the breadth of time and space Forever frail and speaking words of broken truths For here and now is all we have and all that’s Right here is were I lost my state of mind But I’ll fight another day unless I grow wings and learn to Fly away and soar above the cradle of this soul Before I take this step I need a little self control Approach with fear Don’t come near Corruption has entered this fragile soul Distant bells Are calling hell He who brings them speaks my name Beware my course Store my force Else you might follow me

about

Written after the death of a close friend, the three tracks on the debut EP are heavily influenced by grief and loss. In this EP, I explored the feeling of sanity slipping away as I descended into despair.

'I Need You' is a straight out grunge tune that any ageing rocker will find instantly familiar.

In 'Tumbling Down' the journey into an existential crisis begins and my world begins to unravel.

'Distant Bells' is where I lost my grip on reality. Beware my course, else you might follow.
